The Rental Process

Step 1: Traveler searches listings and contacts Owner by email.

Step 2: Owner confirms availability and answers questions.

Step 3: Owner emails the Traveler a rental agreement.

Step 4: Traveler returns the signed agreement with deposit (typically 50%).

Step 5: Owner confirms reservation.

Step 6: Traveler pays balance and security deposit (if required) at least 30 days prior to arrival.

Step 7: Owner emails Traveler arrival/check-in instructions, key pick-up, etc.

Step 8: Traveler arrives at VacationMouse rental home and enjoys a wonderful vacation!

Step 9: After Traveler departs, Owner or housekeeper inspects property. If no damage, the Security Deposit is refunded.

Step 10: We encourage Traveler to write a review for future travelers to enjoy.
