Great location! Great Apartment!
This apartment is GREAT!!! Spent four nights with my college age daughter in this apartment. Location is fantastic for shopping, shows, museums and Central Park. We have been to NYC many times and stayed at several of the BEST top rated luxury hotels. This was a great option. We loved having the experience of being a local buy staying at a place with a kitchen and washer and dryer. The apartment description is accurate. Doorman was helpful. Duane Reade right across the street for snacks and drinks and easy access to the subway. It is clean and beautiful. I recommend staying here and will stay here again next time I visit NYC.
Great spot
We enjoyed our time at this apartment. Great location and well appointed. Modern kitchen and we enjoyed the expansive day light. Everything worked out very well and we'd stay here again if possible.
Elegant and Convenient
The apartment was very well-situated, comfortably furnished with high-end appliances, and convenient for all the sights and experiences of NYC. The owner was very responsive to our requests and the doormen were extremely helpful as well. We would love to stay in this apartment again and highly recommend it to travelers looking for tasteful lodging and a great location. Everything works in the apartment; it is well maintained; and it is in a very safe part of the city. Ideal for two but can accommodate up to four more people if necessary (airbeds provided).
Perfect location
This is the second time we have stayed here. Owner was most helpful. Beautiful apartment with 24 hour doorman. Quiet street, close to subway, shopping and dining. Highly recommended as a nicer and more spacious alternative to a hotel.
Absolutely loved this condo!
My wife and I loved this condo. The descriptions of the building, location, amenities, photos – all 100% accurate. The condo apartment is remarkably clean and well maintained. Decorating was very tasteful. Everything was in good working order and all of the appliances and the Pioneer TV were first class. The location, location, location could not have been better. A cafe and drugstore are directly across the street. Two minutes walk to Madison avenue shopping. Five minutes walk to 53rd/5th subway (there is an entrance at Madison/53rd.) Easy walking distance to the core 5th avenue shopping and tourist sites. What you save on a hotel breakfast by staying here will cover the cost of your cab-fares for the day to any Manhattan restaurants, museums, or tourist sites too far to walk. The owner was easy to deal with. His email responses were prompt, helpful and accommodating. I would recommend this condo to a friend without reservation.
Elegant, coy, central - my home away from home!
My partner and I had the enormous pleasure of staying in this luxury Midtown condo for a week before setting out on a cruise. We thoroughly enjoyed its central location (just short walks away from Central Park, Grand Central, Times Square) which was yet so calm that you could sleep at night with the window open (something that we as Europeans always appreciate). The condo has everything you need (and much more) in order to make your stay as comfortable as home. Plus it is furnished with much personal taste . Shops for grocery shopping and delicatessen are opposite or only a block down. All the concierges and the owner himself very absolutely fabulous with advice and help. In one word: In NYC, theaters only one place for us to stay from now on - our home away from home!
Great Condo!
My sister and I took three of our young adult children (24, 20 and 18) and the condo suited the 5 of us perfectly! The kids found the aerobeds to be very comfortable. The doormen were very nice and helpful. The owner worked with us on our check-in/check-out times to accomodate our flights, even though the condo was being used right before and after us. I have recommended the condo to other friends who travel to midtown frequently and wouldn't hesitate to rent it again on my next trip! I recommend the little cafe across the street for breakfast/coffee/lunch: good, quick and reasonably priced.
Great apartment!
This apartment was high class all the way! The photos don't really do it justice. The location was wonderful...just a couple blocks from 5th Ave, 4 blocks from Central Park, etc. Also, the manager was easy to deal with and the entire transaction was easy. My wife and I stayed at the apartment for a weekend getaway and would definitely want to stay again on future visits to NYC.
Mother's Day weekend
We stayed for two nights in May and had a wonderful weekend. The apartment is beautiful, fully appointed and the decor is sleek and up to date. A short walk from Radio City, 5th Avenue and lots more. Location is great! Can't wait to go back and stay again.
wonderful apartment
We had a great time in this beautiful and well located apartment. It was the first time my kids have been to New York, and the apartment made it all the more exciting experience. I recommend it and am planning to get back.
Quiet Luxury,Wonderful Location
We had a wonderful time in the apt. It was very quiet and no sounds from the other units on the floor or the street. We loved the bed mattress and am considering getting one at home. The location is exceptional with many stores and restaurants just outside your door in this upscale neighborhood. Shopping and lunching with the lovely ladies of NY at Bergdorf's was a lot of fun. Restaurant Bouley in Tribeca was excellent. Hatsuhana for excellent authentic Japanese sushi. We hope to stay at the apt. when we visit NY again.
