Nestled in the warmth of the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains, a cabin beyond exquisite, surrounded by the peace of nature and the wonders of God. Listen to the quiet flow of the river while you sleep or while you gaze at the beauty of nature off your balcony overlooking the bluff. The only backdrop you will see is the mountain wall of the national park, blue skies, fluffy clouds and the unexplainable ‘smoke’ boiling over the mountain at times, which gives the majestic ‘Smokies’ their name. We have named this cabin ‘Refuge’...
Shelter in His wings ... We extend it to you and pray that you find only
peace, love and ‘refuge’ when you enter.
‘Refuge’ is a 24’ x 28’ log cabin made of white pine timber with cathedral ceilings and ceiling fans, and a 8’ x 28’ balcony porch up high overlooking the Little Tennessee River. Dine from your picnic table on the spacious deck or rock to your heart’s content as you listen to the river and view the hemlocks and forest all around.
Built with love, every detail was carefully though out with you in mind, complete with a king-sized bed, a sleep loft with sleeping bags for the kiddies, a ‘Snuggler’ sleeper sofa, fresh linens, shower, gas grill, microwave, coffee pot, dishwasher and plenty of dishes. You will feel comfortable with the amenities of home at your fingertips. Bring your slippers, ceramic tile completes the floors, being elegant and cool. Add to that a genuine Jacuzzi tub, TV with VCR/DVD and small video library, cable and Sega Genesis, ‘boom box’, gas log fireplace, and lots of nature and privacy, and you will be delighted. Just bring your food and your ’honey’ and the rest awaits you, right on down to candles and bubble bath!
Next, just walk down your private, dead-end road
and you can step across the Great Smoky Mountain Nat’l Park boundary line…that’s how close you are to the Park!
Bike the 3-mile trail, tube down the river, or simply relax in finery with nature’s beauty all around.
Within minutes of Wears Valley,
Laurel Valley Country Club, Gatlinburg, Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort,
