Harbor Springs and Petoskey are well-known as pristine resort communities. Harbor Springs, the deepest natural harbor in the Great Lakes, is a haven for boaters. Charming is the best way to describe the downtown areas that boasts boutique shopping, varied dining, marinas and beaches. Transient boat slips are available at both the Harbor Springs and Petoskey marinas.
The famed “Tunnel of Trees” located on M119 on the coast of Lake Michigan is beautiful during any season, but especially spectacular during the fall. Be sure to visit historic Legs Inn as you enter Cross Village for an authentic polish meal and an amazing view.
