This has to be one of the most unique log properties in Minnesota. It was built on the site of a logging camp back in the 1920’s, is almost 3000 square feet and great for entertaining large groups! Additional pictures can be viewed on our web site http://www.briarlakelodge.com

The sloping hardwood floors add character to the hand hewn beam, vaulted rooms. An expansive four season porch seats up to 40 people for dining or serene relaxation overlooking the lake. The picture windows on the porch open to create an airy, fragrant screen porch during warmer months. Master Suite features a private bathroom with walk in shower. The large, level grassed yard serves as winter parking for vehicles and trailers and is ideal for tented events like weddings, family reunions or large outdoor activities during the summer. Local catering and tent rentals are available.

Briar Lake is almost 1 mile long and varies in width as you can see on our website picture on the local info tab (See Link Below). Briar is a DNR designated trout lake and stocked with Rainbows, Splake, and Donaldson trout.The water is clear and warm, (when not covered by snow and ice). Depth in the center is about 30 feet. Briar is a spring fed lake with a creek outflow on the far end. Great for boating, waterskiing, kayaks, jet skis and snowmobiling and long enough to take off and land float planes. We also have a shallow cove that has launched boats up to 20 feet in length.

We’re only five minutes by snowmobile from the Grant in Aid or State Snowmobile Trail System parking lot. There are three restaurant/bars within apx.12 miles and many more accessible via the trail system.
