Fabulous apartment
Our family of four (two teenagers) stayed in this apartment for six nights over Christmas 2011. All four of us enjoyed it so much. The location is brilliant. Easy walking distance from all major sights. Our teenagers enjoyed the flexibility of the location... popping up to Times Square, heading off for the day on the subway independently. We felt perfectly safe allowing them to do so. The apartment itself is breath taking. The views are fab day and night. You would not want to sleep here! We could not believe our luck in finding an apartment that was exactly as it said on the website and was also so centrally located.
Fantastic Vacation!
My wife and I stayed here for three nights while sightseeing in early November and it was fantastic. We even had three children with us (10, 13, & 14) and it was perfect. The kids slept on air mattresses and loved it. The apartment was clean, roomy enough for us, and in an excellent location. We took a $45 cab from the airport and used a car service to get back. We walked for most everything else. I would definitely recommend this to anyone planning a trip to NYC. I can't think of a way it could have been better.

We rented this back in 11 months prior to going, then we got a bit worried if we did the right thing. We looked on google and worried if it was a scam or not, like a bad building next to a nice one. We were SO VERY PLEASED. I wish we had read the 2011 reviews to ease our minds. They had a hair dryer, air beds, many pillows and blankets for extra people. The view was spectacular, laughed when we found a nightlight tucked in a drawer - no need the city lights were enough for getting around in middle of the night. We walked several times to Time Square and Rockefeller Plaza daily to see the Christmas decorations with no problem, it was actually nice to walk away from the crowd. We compared nightly stay with someone staying in time Square at a Hotel and we pd the same amount and they didn't even have a small refrigerator. this is such a great way to stay. thank you for opening it up to us. We defiantly recommend it to anyone. The place was so clean when we got there, we cleaned it up on our way out - it was just that nice, we felt like we needed to.
Couldn't have asked for more!!!!
My husband and I spent a week in NYC at this amazing apartment. I don't think we'll ever stay in a hotel again. With the information on the webpage we were confident in what we were getting, plus we knew we had great view from the pictures shown, only to be out done by the actual views once we arrived. They can only be described as sensational. The apartment was VERY clean, modern, bright and organized, with lots of closet space. We didn't need ANYTHING but food and drink. As it is on the outskirts of the tourist area and being up high, noise from the 'city' and traffic is minimal. There was a small grocery on the corner, a liquor store across the street and a small bar just down the street. We were able to walk to Times Square, Madison Square Garden, and since we were adventuring and using the subway system, we were close to many major stations giving access to all major attractions. The Empire State Building was a bit far, but good shoes, decent weather and time to walk, it would be fine. There are restaurants everywhere you turn, we tried a couple by walking about. Our discovery was a great Italian place up 9th ave., Nizza. There's also one up a block and across the street but didn't try it, only so much time. If you are looking for a place to feel comfortable, a home away from home with everything you need, that's just on the edge of the busy tourist areas, this is the place. Thank you to our hosts for putting together such a wonderful option to hotels.
Fantastic Stacy
One word describes this property- WOW! The owner is so easy to work with and answers any questions you may have. The location of this rental is really second to none. It is quick and easy to get to Madison Square Garden, Times Square, Central Park, The Port Authority, etc. The furnishings, decor, beds and views were spectacular. All of us that stayed there will be bringing our families back and will not stay with anyone other than this owner. The doormen at this building were also great and helpful. Only thing that I would change is to stay longer!
Great Place!!
We visited NYC in April 2011 and had the pleasure of renting this apartment for a week. We spent a lot of time searching online for a hotel room that would work for us and our two kids (12 & 14).. we wanted a separate sleeping room or joining rooms. This proved hard to find or overly expensive. The apartment worked out perfectly with each kid with their own air bed and us in our private room with very comfortable queen bed. Each night we had to re-arrange the kid’s beds so they could each take turns sleeping in front of the floor to ceiling corner window… watching the city lights as they fell asleep. The 27th floor offered great views… there was also roof top access that provided nice views. The kitchen was very accommodating with everything you need to prepare your own meals. The in-room washer and dryer proved very helpful and allowed us to pack light (we brought just carry-on type luggage). Wireless Internet, HD cable TV with DVR was great (my daughter was able to record American Idol and watch it after we all got back from a Broadway play). This is stuff you just won’t get at a hotel! You are also within walking distance of Time’s Square, Penn Station (subway), Madison Square Garden and numerous wonderful restaurants in Hell’s Kitchen (9th avenue). We used the Dial-7 car service from LGA airport to the apartment which I would highly recommend… was, including tolls, $35 (plus tip) .. much better than a taxi as the price is fixed (no matter how much traffic or the detours the driver may take) plus you’re in a nice town car. Just call ahead to reserve.
